Ashland rollers are available in five roller tube classifications:

  • Aluminum
  • Plain steel
  • Galvanized steel
  • Stainless steel
  • PVC

Tapered Conveyor Rollers

Ashland Tapered Conveyor Rollers are used in curved sections of gravity conveyor systems. They have an outer diameter that is larger than the inner diameter, which helps keep the material being conveyed on track as it moves along. They are ideal for applications where the material being conveyed is sensitive to vibration or damage. Tapered rollers can also help to reduce the amount of space required for a conveyor system, as they can create tight curves.

The most common size for a tapered conveyor roller is 2 1/2” diameter on the large end, which tapers down to a 1 5/8” diameter on the small end. Installing tapered conveyor rollers delivers directional package handling without using side guards.
