Pat Cucco is a seasoned engineer with three decades of experience specializing in product design and process engineering. His career highlights a strong dedication to technical innovation and practical application within the manufacturing sector. 

Currently serving as a Process & Product Engineer at Ashland Conveyor Products for the past 9.5 years, Pat blends real world experience in manufacturing processes with creative product design. His work focuses on enhancing production efficiency while driving customer value with innovative solutions in the conveyor industry. 

Prior to his role at Ashland Conveyor Products, Pat spent 17.5 years at MTD Products, a leader in outdoor power equipment. He held various positions, including Journeyman Tool and Die Maker, Prototype Development Technician, and Product Development Engineer. This extensive tenure underscores his proficiency in designing and refining consumer products, with an emphasis on cost-effective and practical solutions. 

Pat's educational background encompasses a comprehensive 4-year Tool & Die apprenticeship at MTD, completed alongside his studies at North Central State College. Later in his career, he returned to the college to further his education in engineering technology. This blend of formal education and hands-on experience has provided him with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, precision machining, and design principles, significantly shaping his approach to engineering throughout his career. 

With over 27 years of diverse engineering experience, Pat possesses a versatile skill set that bridges theoretical design with practical manufacturing applications. His career progression from design-focused roles to encompassing both process and product engineering reflects his adaptability and continuous pursuit of expertise. 

Pat's longstanding tenure at MTD Products and Ashland Conveyor Products shows his consistent ability to deliver value in dynamic technical environments. His background in tool and die, and product development provides a unique perspective on manufacturing processes, enabling him to approach product and process design with a pragmatic understanding of production realities.
