Tim Carpenter

Chief Executive Officer

Tim is a visionary leader and seasoned executive with 30 years of experience in Fortune 50 companies and high-growth private equity-backed businesses. He has extensive experience in industrial manufacturing and services sectors. His track record demonstrates consistent success in driving above-market growth, profits, and team development. He is a relentless developer of talent and team success.

As Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of ProVeyance, he has helped the empower the team to develop and launch innovative conveyance solutions, expand product scope, target vertical markets, and strengthen the company's training and talent. His previous roles include CEO of a global market-leading storage tank and dome business and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of a $1 billion global automotive parts supplier. Prior to that, Tim's career highlights also include serving as COO of a publicly traded global manufacturer of high-precision industrial equipment (where he directly supported a success sale), as well as leadership positions at Rexnord, Gander Denver / Ingersol-Rand and UTC – Carrier Corporation.

With expertise in mergers and acquisitions, Tim has led or participated in over 20 successful transactions and integrations – both buy side and sell side - which has provided him a unique perspective which has aided in several successful mergers – including ProVeyance. The high-performance teams he has led consistently excel in developing talent and implementing breakthrough strategies and transformations using methodologies such as the Danaher Business System, 80/20, Toyota Production System, and Shinsitsu.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Eastern Michigan University and a master’s degree from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. Based in the Midwest, Tim travels extensively to cultivate customer, employee, and financial relationships. In his leisure time, he enjoys cycling, playing guitar, and spending time with family.
