Ashland Power Belt Conveyor Systems

Power Belt Conveyor Systems

Ashland Power Belt systems provide a quiet, low cost, smooth conveying surface which can be used for many applications such as assembly, packing, sorting, and testing.

What is a Power Belt Conveyor System?

Powered Belt Conveyors use an electric motor to move a belt, and are the most versatile material handling systems for situations not suitable for gravity conveyors. This type of system can be used to transport a variety of products including cartons, totes, bags and drums.

Consisting of either a roller bed (higher capacity) or a steel bed on which a conveyor belt rides, they allow for the smooth transportation of different loads. The SB400 and the SB350 conveyors provide a quiet, low cost, smooth conveying surface which can be used for many applications such as assembly, packing, sorting, and testing.

These units are best suited for light and medium loads. The RB190 model will convey heavier loads, such as furniture and bulky materials. These units convey heavier loads with less horsepower, as the belt is riding over free turning rollers. Ashland’s standard line of Slider Bed and Roller Bed power belt conveyors, also available as incline conveyors, are ideal for automating manufacturing, distribution, and warehouse usage. These systems can be configured as Incline or decline conveyors.

Benefits of Power Belt Conveyor Systems:

  • Controlled Speed
  • Controlled Spacing
  • Versatile and can be used to transport a variety of products
  • Can be used when products need to be moved over long distances or on an incline
